BIO / Kyle Olsen

I am a photographer based out of Utah with a love for nature and wildlife. The ability to capture and share moments in nature that others might not have a chance to experience is such an exciting and amazing concept! I always say “If even one person in the world can find some enjoyment or joy and happiness from even one of my images, I have done my job!” I hope you enjoy the images as much as I do!

I was born and raised in Utah. As a boy growing up, My parents use to take my siblings and I on camping trips all over the Utah mountains, Colorado, and Wyoming during the summer and spring seasons every year. Rain or shine!! I quickly developed a love for being out in nature.

I started spending a lot of my time in nature as a hunter. Something about the thrill of tracking and finding wildlife. But it always seemed like something was missing. Like the second the hunt was over, that feeling was gone. Pull the trigger, no more thrill.

I stopped hunting, and after sometime I started to miss that thrill of being out with wildlife. Watching them. Listening to them. Spending time getting to know their behaviors. That’s when I picked up photography. It was like hunting all over again, only this time, the thrill never left! I got to take those moments with me and keep them forever! And not only that, I get to share them and show them to other people that may enjoy them. I was hooked from the first shutter click. And the excitement and thrill of the first one is the exact excitement and thrill I feel on all of them! I hope you enjoy the images as much I do!
